 The AMAs got the media and social
networking sites going for the past few weeks about the heavily
loaded bill of acts and super stars for the 2009 awards show. So
when news broke out that Gambia's rising star Singhateh was to perform at the show, it wowed almost
everyone.
Singhateh was tasked with the biggest mission of his
career. To go and fly the Gambian flag sky high at the AMAs.

 Win win at the AMAs for both SeneGambian nominees,
as Waka J and Youssou Ndoure both won awards. The veteran Gambian music promoter
