on earth and I am determined to make a difference
How does it feel to be the winner of
Miss Gambia?
It feels great!!! The little girls were
soooo cute, they were calling “MISS GAMBIA, MISS GAMBIA!” That, I’ll
never forget.
Why do you think you won?
Well, I think that the judges were able
to see that I was really enjoying myself, that I had confidence and that
I have a drive and a passion beyond just wanting the title of Miss
Gambia USA.
How does winning this competition going
to benefit you?
I hope that it opens up new doors for

educational background for myself and my future, something to fall back
on

I started singing
in school at the age of six. I have been in a group which opened up a
show for National Recording Artists Jagged Edge. I now sing solo, but
have been focusing mostly on school.

I see myself working for myself at a
company that I will help to establish. I see myself possibly being
married and who knows from there. This is all through God’s willing of

OH YES!!! That is my home. I really
dream of a Gambia, where we don’t have to leave to get adequate health
care or greater financial status.
Any tips or advice for others interested
in modeling or beauty contests?
of being myself and showing confidence.
I would advise anyone that is interested in either modeling or beauty
pageants to be sure that they know who they really are inside and out
and are comfortable with themselves.
Last but not least……
“I would like to thank all of my friends
and family out there that Supported me, laughed with me, helped me pick
outfits, helped me prepare, everyone. I am so excited! Thank you God,
mom (Ndey Awa Faal Dibba), dad (Lamin “Lang” Dibba), and my big brother
(Lamin boy). Special shots out to
MINNESOTA, USA…hopefully everyone knows
where Minnesota is now! Gambia, keep your head up….we are a wonderful
and great country!!!”
