A
UK-based Gambian
entertainment
impresario, Njok
Malick Jeng, was
recently in The
Gambia to not
only join
friends and
family but to
also consolidate
the gains that
he and his
outfit have so
far achieved
over the years.
Njok Malick, the
Chief Executive
Officer of Yaram
Art, used his
recent visit to
not only
organize
eye-opening
musical concerts
but to also
render
humanitarian
assistance to
the needy
through Yaram
Art Cloth Drive
initiative.
Yaram Art CEO,
who has been
very
instrumental in
assisting
Gambian artistes
to travel to the
U.K to stage
musical
performances,
told
Entertainment
that his outfit
is out to
salvage the
Gambia’s music
industry from
the threatening
flood of
decadence.
Over the years,
Njok Malick have
been investing
both his
resources and
energy to help
take the Gambian
music and sports
to another
level.
It would be
recalled that Pa
Omar Jack of
Fish and Chips
fame and Yusupha
Mboob alias
Jollof Man were
recently in the
UK to stage
ground-shaking
concerts thanks
to the
instrumentality
of Yaram Art.
Before that
several Gambian
and Senegalese
artistes have
also benefited
from similar
programmes.

interview Njok
had with Momodou
Justice Darboe,
