Nancy
Nanz whose real name is Mammy Nancy Waggeh was born in Banjul on the 2nd
October 1986 at the street called Tobacco Road in The Gambia. Her father
is Ebou Waggeh a journalist who used to work at the Gambia Radio and

in Banjul in the early 70s and unlike most young Gambian artists, she
hails from a griot family that really gave her a jumpstart in her
