Youssou who is always looking to satisfy all his fans wherever they may be, decided to recreate this kind of ambience in the diaspora and the concept Grand Bal has since been established in Paris and NewYork.
 
The Grand Bal first came to London in July of 2007 promoted by seasoned promoter and long time Youssou fan B.O. Njie under the mentorship of Aeglive Senior Vice President Rob Hallet.
 
The phenomenal success of the first Grand Bal was confirmed when Youssou half way into the show announced, “The Grand Bal has come to London to stay”. The crowd went wild.
